New program in Edmond will help survivors of domestic violence In Edmond, they've agreed to waive utility deposits for people escaping domestic violence situations. THEY'VE AGREED TO WAIVE UTILITY DEPOSITS FOR ANYONE ESCAPING A DOMESTIC VIOLENCE SITUATION. NOW THEY SAY THIS IS ONLY A SMALL OF THE SOLUTION, BUT THEY'RE HAPPY TO BE DOING SOMETHING TO HELP. WE'RE TRYING TO DO IS REMOVE AT LEAST ONE ROADBLOCK SO THAT DOMESTIC VIOLENCE SURVIVORS CAN HAVE AN OPPORTUNITY TO MAYBE GET OUT OF A BAD SITUATION.
